If callers say your AI assistant isn’t picking up, start with the basics. Open Settings → Phone and confirm your number shows a green “Active” status. A yellow or red indicator usually means a port is still in progress or a carrier issue needs attention.
Next, place a test call yourself from a phone that isn’t already saved in your contacts. If you hear the assistant greet you, the line is healthy and the issue is likely on the caller’s side (blocked number, carrier routing, etc.). If you get silence or a fast busy signal, move to the next step.
Check your call forwarding rules. If you’ve set up business-hours routing, calls outside those hours may be intentionally sent to voicemail or a human fallback. Adjusting the schedule or the fallback number usually resolves it.
