How credits work
Credits are the balance that powers variable usage. The whole team shares one pool; usage draws it down until your next reset or top-up.
Usage rates
Voice minutes round up to the nearest minute. Only outbound SMS and MMS consume credits for messaging.

What are credits and how do they work?
Credits are the shared balance your whole team uses for billable usage: outbound calls and texts, and AI Setter messages when that feature is on. Your Standard plan includes 10,000 credits per month that refresh on your billing date and do not roll over. Everyone on the account draws from the same pool.
Do included credits roll over?
The 10,000 monthly credits from the Standard plan reset each billing cycle and do not carry forward. Credits from optional monthly boost add-ons can roll over up to twice the monthly amount you subscribe to. One-time credit packs never expire.
What happens if we run low on credits?
You will see low-balance notices in the product and by email before usage is affected. Auto top-up can purchase a starter pack using your card on file when balance is very low, unless an admin turns that off in billing settings. You can also add a recurring monthly boost or buy a one-time pack anytime.
How much does an extra user or phone number cost?
Each additional seat is $59 per month and adds one user slot plus 2,000 credits per month to your shared pool. Each extra local or toll-free number beyond the one included with Standard is $5 per month.
Is AI Setter included? Does it use credits?
AI Setter is included in Standard and can be turned on or off in settings. When it is enabled, each outbound AI message draws from your shared credit balance.
What is not charged as credits?
Inbound SMS and MMS are not debited. Automated internal notifications from Workhive to your team, such as new-lead alerts and daily game plan messages, are included. Call transcription and AI call summaries are bundled into voice minute usage, not billed separately.
